GENERAL

What are the various ballpark protocols that will be implemented?

  • Mobile Ticketing: Tickets will be distributed electronically to each graduate prior to the ceremony. The graduate will then have the opportunity to transfer the mobile tickets to their family members that will be in attendance. Upon entry, family members will pull up their mobile device to scan.

  • Cashless Facility: Sutter Health Park and the parking lots it operates will not accept cash. Credit/Debit card, and other forms of electronic payment will only be accepted.

  • Food and Beverage Options: Concourse concessions will be open for food and beverage purchase. Card payment only.

  • Clear Bag Policy: Sutter Health Park enforces a clear bag policy and ask guests to open their own bags for inspection. Guests may bring in non-clear bags if no larger than 5"x8" (about the size of a half sheet of paper). If guests come with a larger bag that is not clear, they will be asked to store it in our lockers for a nominal fee, or bring it back to their vehicle. All guests will pass through our metal detector upon entry as well. See below for a visual on which clear bags will be permitted.

frequently asked questions

  • SUTTER HEALTH PARK IS A CASHLESS VENUE.
Electronic payment (credit/debit/Samsung Pay/Apple Pay is accepted)
  • Can I bring my own chair into the ballpark?
No chairs are permitted in the ballpark. Blankets are allowed and recommended! If you'd like to avoid the crowds on the field, there are thousands of stadium seats to choose from!
  • Is there a specific seat or area I have to sit?
Not at all! Your ticket is a general admission ticket, meaning that you can set up camp anywhere from the field, to the stadium seats, and to the outfield lawn area. There are plenty of options to sit and have a great time! Keep in mind, the field is very popular with our attendees, if you would like to have a spot on the outfield grass, we recommend showing up right when gates open.
  • Can I bring food and drinks in the ballpark?
No food is allowed. Refillable water bottles are permitted inside the gates; however, they must be EMPTY upon entry. Factory-sealed water bottles are allowed.
  • Is there a bag check before I enter the gates?
Yes. To avoid touching attendees’ personal items, Sutter Health Park is enforcing a small clear bag policy, and guests are asked to open their own bags for inspection. No fireworks, explosives, or firearms are permitted inside the ballpark.
  • What is the bag policy?
PRO TIP: Pack Light. Small clutches and wallets no larger than 5”x8” (about the size of a half sheet of paper) are permitted. Anything larger will need to be in a clear bag. See below for a visual on which clear bags will be permitted.
  • Do I have to purchase a ticket for my infant?
Children UNDER 2 years of age will not need a ticket to enter Fourth on the Field. All other Fourth on the Field goers will need a ticket. Be sure to take advantage of the Family 4 Pack ticket discount! If you're purchasing 4 or more tickets on your transaction, each ticket becomes $12.50!
  • Can I bring my stroller in the ballpark?
While strollers are permitted inside the ballpark, you cannot bring them on the field.
  • Will the kids' area be open during the event?
Our ages can enjoy our play structures and whiffle ball court, as well as some fun activities.
  • How do I purchase a suite?
To purchase suites please contact events@rivercats.com
  • If I purchased a 21+ Club Level Ticket, or a Suite, how do I get onto the suite level?
There will be plenty of directional signage at the ballpark during Fourth on the Field. Your Club Level Ticket will have access points at three different spots along the concourse (one near the left field line, one near the main gate, and one near the right field line).
  • Will the ticket office be open the day of the event to purchase a ticket?
Our Ticket Office will open at 2:00pm the night of Fourth on the Field for the sale of tickets. Prior to arrival, we recommend checking inventory online (via the link at the top of this page). Limited inventory will be available the day of the event. All tickets to enter Fourth on the Field are electronic and can be pulled up on your mobile device for entry.
  • What type of food will be available at Fourth on the Field?
Fourth on the Field is a great event for the food trucks in our area to showcase their best eats! Food trucks will line the warning track giving you a taste of tacos, BBQ, kettle corn, ice cream, etc. If you can dream it, it will probably be there! Additionally, the Sutter Health Park storefronts on the concourse will be open offering burgers hot dogs, Dippin' Dots, and much more. Be sure to also take advantage of the food trucks located on the concourse level!
  • Once I enter the ballpark, am I able to leave and re-enter?
No re-entry is permitted at Fourth on the Field.
  • What time do the fireworks start?
The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 PM. With that in mind, all food trucks have been asked to cut their lines off at 9:20PM so everyone can enjoy the show without being in a food truck line.
  • Is there a rideshare pick-up and drop-off location?
Due to the nature of the event, there will be high traffic around the ballpark. A specific area is designated for rideshare pick-up and drop-off and is located on the Fifth St.
