Are there any stadium protocols I should be aware of?:
Sutter Health Park is a cashless venue! All major credit/debit cards, mobile payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) and River Cats gift cards will be accepted as payment.
Mobile Tickets - All event tickets are digitized! For the best experience, be sure to add your digital tickets to your mobile wallet in advance of your arrival to make your entrance experience quick and effortless! If you are attending Brewfest at the Ballpark with a group and arriving together, only one person in your group will need to have all tickets added to their mobile wallet. If you bought tickets for friends, and they're not entering the gates with you, make sure to transfer their tickets to them so they can add to their mobile wallet.
All guests at Sutter Health Park will pass through a metal detector to enter the stadium. Sutter Health Park has a CLEAR BAG POLICY for any bags larger than 5”x8” (about the size of a half sheet of paper). See below for a visual on what you can bring inside the ballpark. *note: if you forget your clear bag on event day, lockers are available for a nominal fee outside of our main gates.
If it's raining, what happens?: Brewfest at the Ballpark is rain or shine, baby! In the event that the field is too wet, we'll bring the party to the concourse and still have the time of our lives.
I forgot my ID, what do I do?: Call a friend to bring it to you! We will be checking IDs at the gates. All guests must have a valid US Driver’s License or Photo ID and must be 21+ to enter Brewfest at the Ballpark.
Can I bring my infant, toddler, or child?: Sorry, but no one under 21 years of age will be able to enter Brewfest at the Ballpark, no exceptions.
Are animals allowed?: No animals except for service animals are allowed inside the stadium.
Will there be a safe spot to park my bike?: Yes! We will have a bike valet set up on Ballpark Drive, directly in front of the stadium where you may park your bike for the duration of the event.
What type of food will be available?: We will have a wide range of options to tempt your taste buds! All food will be available to you for purchase (reminder, we're cashless!).
If I'm not a huge beer fan, but I still want to participate, what other alcohol options are there?: There are definitely more options than just beer at Brewfest! There will be something for everyone!
Can I bring in my own food?: No outside food or drinks will be permitted inside the stadium, individual factory-sealed bottled water is permitted (your lovely pretzel necklaces are okay to come in too!)
Is there re-entry once I am inside the gates?: Sorry, no re-entry. Once you leave, you cannot come back in. That being said, make sure you don't leave anything in the car or rideshare!
When is last pour?: Last pour is at 9:40pm!
I'm VIP! What do I get?: You did Brewfest at the Ballpark the right way! VIP ticket holders will get into Brewfest 1-hr early at 5:30pm to be first in line to taste your favorite craft beers. You will be treated like VIP all night by having your own dedicated entry line, a private space on our concourse to take a load off, and an exclusive concession stand reserved just for you to enjoy all-you-can-eat ballpark tastes.
If I am a DD, do I need to purchase a ticket?: All Designated Drivers will need to purchase a Designated Driver Ticket. Your ticket includes a River Cats Souvenir Soft Drink Cup which comes with unlimited drink refills all night.* All Designated Drivers must be 21+ ID’s will be checked upon entry.
*soda refills are available on the concourse level of the stadium and guests with the DD ticket will be the only guests permitted to redeem refills.
I have my DD ticket, how do I get in?: There will be a Designated Driver Check-In area in front of the main gates. To check-in, you must show your ticket and a valid ID. Upon check-in you will be wristbanded, marked with a mark on your hand, and given your refillable souvenir cup. Designated Drivers will not be let into the stadium without having their wristband and mark on their hard, so be sure to check-in before getting in line!
I have a DD ticket and my group has VIP tickets. Can I get in early with them?: Heck yeah you can! You will get in the separate Check-In line to enter the gates and you can meet your group when they get inside. As a DD, you will be able to get in early with your VIP group, but you will not be able to access their private space on the concourse.
Can I buy my tickets in person instead of online?: Yes! You may purchase tickets at our Ticket Office. Ticket office hours can be found here. Ticket Office hours the day of Brewfest at the Ballpark are: 10:00am-2:00pm, and then will re-open at 4:30pm through the duration of the event. Don't forget, there is a $10 ticket bump the day of the event, so purchase in advance!
I would like to volunteer at Brewfest, how can I do that?: If you would like to volunteer, you can send an email to email@example.com with the subject: Brewfest Volunteer Inquiry.
Can I bring a chair in the stadium?: With the outfield grass as your oyster, you won’t need a chair (plus chairs are not permitted). Bring a blanket and pick your spot for the night!
What if I can't sit on the ground, is there anywhere else for me to sit?: Totally! We will have some stadium seats available for sitting in the seating bowl so you can take it all in from there.
Where can I smoke?: Because we do not allow re-entry, there will be a designated smoking area at Brewfest. Smoking is NOT permitted on the field level.
Is there a list of beers or an event map?: Yes! Our Brewfest Map will be coming soon.
Does Brewfest benefit a certain organization?: Yes! Proceeds from Brewfest at the Ballpark benefit the River Cats Foundation, an organization created to serve and benefit children and families in need in our Sacramento area.
